Logistics is the discipline that deals with procurement, storage and delivery in accordance with the amount, kind of the point of origin to point of destination.

Logistics principles: right time, right place, right goods

Disaster management in Indonesia named BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency) was established in 2008 as a coordinator role in disaster management

3 phases in disaster preparation, planning, and construction

  • In the disaster management there are 2 system :

1. Pushed system: we send all the good stuff that we receive on the spot and we have a buffer stock without identifying the required assistance.
For example: when in the beginning of the disasterst

2. Pulled system: the system where we check what is needed refugees
For example: in the post-disaster

  • In disaster when the principle of 3M

1. Materials: Materials are delivered
2. move: migration is possible
3. method: The method can dialakukan based

with the help of google maps and the systems that have been well coordinated. we can find supplies, toilets, and a place that might be temoat refuge.
Examples Solok regency and cianjur.

issues and solution

Issues in disaster management:
1. complex bureaucracy between central and local
2. coordination difficult
3. costly

solution:
1. Change the mindset of vulnerable groups should be assisted
2. Lead time approaching 0
3. Activity log 6w 1h 3m
4. Pushed system pulled system

positive and negative strait sunda bridge for indonesian people

Sunda Strait Bridge is a very risky area with natural disasters . The first name that comes there as well as a by-product of Krakatoa was an earthquake . Linear distance to the nearest strait Mount Krakatau Sunda Strait is about 50 kilometers ( measurement with Google Earth ) . Less likely to materially due to the eruption of Mount Krakatau in the Sunda Strait Bridge , but to roll his ashes could interfere though small scale . Surely the manager will set the alert status and temporarily close the Sunda Strait Bridge . Its adverse effects to worry about is volcanic earthquakes caused. 50 km horizontal distance is not the distance . If the structure of the bridge is not calculated carefully , will likely occur collapsed or simply crash ( indirectly lead to collapse ) . If there are users who are in the middle segment of the bridge , of course, will cause tremendous panic and causing traffic chaos .
Sunda Strait is an important pathway for marine traffic . Stakes were used for the foundation course will disrupt the ship that would pass even distribution of collision that could destroy the bridge . Although on the suspension bridge made of high clearance ( approximately 65 meters ) , but the passing ships to be uncomfortable and danger of a collision with the foundation remains.
Construction took a long time , while the condition of Jakarta - Merak Toll Road really need a solution to reduce severe congestion . The end goal rather than the Sunda Strait Bridge course to reduce congestion , but feared during the construction process will cause congestion that could be longer , especially for roads connecting the bridge to the main road Anyer . Although probably not going to use a long time , but the impact is huge , especially for the economy .
Additional costs after the construction process will continue pouring . Bridges along the Sunda Strait Bridge would require monitoring and maintenance schedules are disciplined and organized . In order for the supervision and care of that kind can happen , of course, should be proportional to the amount of funds expended . Funds required would be enormous , especially for road repairs damaged ( transport costs ) , the cleanliness of the Sunda Strait Bridge , and most importantly the supervision of the construction . Try just counted how many piles are used , how long the cable for the bridge , how long segment of the Sunda Strait Bridge , the length of the bridge is dirty with litter from the bridge at the other end of the island of Java to Sumatra Island .
Negative side of Sunda Strait bridge construction is quite realistic to imagine , is not like most futuristic plus side . The construction process is planned to be completed in 2025 and is ready for use and will be the longest bridge in the world . But other countries also do not want to lose to make the longest bridge in the world . The fact now is a much more developed country than Indonesia in terms of both knowledge and financial terms . Could even countries like Japan , China , United States , and other new ones will be more advance planning than the completion of the Sunda Strait Bridge construction process , or at least finished shortly after the Sunda Strait bridge construction . Is likely to be the main orientation of the Sunda Strait bridge construction is to simply pride . From an economic point still seems to be little , if viewed from the Indonesian economy and economic systems and corruption that continues to follow .

In my opinion , I do not agree with the construction of the Sunda Strait Bridge . From the comparison between the positive and negative aspects of the Sunda Strait Bridge , the negative side is stronger because of realistic and coherent with the current state of the various sectors of life . Congestion in Merak requires immediate problem resolution , not the resolution that will occur within 14 years even more . Indonesia also requires completion of the traffic problems waters immediately . Maybe a fund of 100 billion dollars could be used to make port in some coastal cities in need , repair ports , marine traffic system improvements , and so on . Sunda Strait bridge may not be a powerful problem-solving , but still it is expected that the Sunda Strait Bridge will be able to break the various doubts from various parties and can answer the problems that exist . positive and negative Sunda strait bridge
